Terms of use

What this website is, how a quote works, and what has to be true before I can buy a vehicle from you.

Who this is

This website belongs to I Buy Junk Cars, family‑owned and registered in Walker County, Texas since 2021, operated by Roderick. Contact is by phone or text on (936) 331‑2391.

What a quote is

A price I give you on the phone or by text is an offer to buy that specific vehicle, based on what you’ve told me about it. It stands as long as the vehicle is substantially what you described.

If it turns out to be materially different — a different vehicle, missing major components you didn’t mention, or damage well beyond what was described — then the quoted price no longer applies and we’ll agree a new one or call it off. Either of us can walk away at that point with nothing owed.

There is no deposit, nothing to sign in advance, and no obligation on you until the vehicle actually changes hands.

What has to be true before I can buy

  • You are the registered owner of the vehicle, or are legally authorised to sell it.
  • You can show photo ID that matches the ownership paperwork.
  • There is no outstanding lien or finance interest on the vehicle.
  • You have the right to have the vehicle removed from where it is parked.
  • An adult is present at pickup to complete the paperwork and take payment.

A missing title is not automatically a blocker — call and ask. Ownership itself is not negotiable.

Payment and towing

Payment is in cash, at pickup, before the vehicle is loaded. Towing is included in the agreed price and is not deducted from it.

Once the vehicle is sold

Ownership transfers when payment is made and the paperwork is completed. Remove your personal belongings and your licence plates before then — once the vehicle is on the truck, anything left inside it goes with it, and I can’t be responsible for property left in a sold vehicle.

Cancelling your registration with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles after the sale is the seller’s responsibility.

Service area and availability

The towns listed on this site are where I regularly work, not a guarantee of availability on any particular day. Times given on the phone are honest estimates from a single truck, and traffic, weather and the job before yours can move them. I’ll tell you if that happens.

About the content on this site

Descriptions here are general information about how vehicle buying and Texas paperwork usually work. They are not legal or financial advice for your situation. The photographs are of the actual truck and equipment used, not stock imagery.

I keep this site accurate but can’t promise it is free of errors or available without interruption. Content may change without notice.

Limits

Nothing on this website creates an obligation to buy any particular vehicle. To the extent Texas law allows, my responsibility in connection with this website is limited to the actual transaction between us, if there is one. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Walker County, Texas.
